Partners in providing service and support

St. Marys Memorial Hospital is committed to high-quality health care for the community.

Founded to commemorate the community’s losses at the end of World War II, today St. Marys Memorial Hospital is a strong, integral part of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance. In addition to around-the-clock emergency services, the 20-bed hospital provides cardiac, palliative and complex continuing care. Diagnostic imaging and laboratory services are also available seven days a week.

Other services provided by St. Marys Memorial Hospital include:

The Wellness Centre, opened in 2002, provides modern facilities for St. Marys family physicians. It also houses the Stratford satellite YMCA, St. Marys Community Rehabilitation clinic and Regional Infection Control Network.

A recent addition to the hospital grounds is a Perth County EMS building supplying ambulance service to St. Marys and area. Early in 2008, St. John Ambulance also relocated to St. Marys Memorial Hospital to offer a more permanent location for its vehicle, equipment and volunteers.

The St. Marys Memorial Hospital Auxiliary provides volunteers in the rehabilitation department as well as many fundraising events for much-needed equipment not covered by the Ministry of Health’s operational funding. The hospital would not function as well as it does without this committed loyal group.
